These are our two dogs: Syd and Bruno. We adopted both of them from the Skagit Valley Humane Society in Burlington, WA. Denise adopted Syd when he was six months old in September of 1998 (I was away at the time and had no control over this matter). Almost one year later, in July of 1999, we adopted Bruno who was about one year old (we think). Syd is a Beagle mix. We are not sure what he is mixed with but he is larger (about 40 lbs) and fluffier than a Beagle and he has a curl to his tail. Bruno seems to be a random mix of breeds and weighs in at 80 lbs. Although Syd is a cute dog, he is quite Evil. He is passive-aggresive and very stubborn and to make matters worse, he is very intelligent (when it serves his purposes). Bruno, on the other hand, is very sweet and what he lacks in brains, he makes up with heart. He is also very insecure and constantly seeking attention. In any event, they are both good doggies.
